Theresa and Jonathan's Wedding

The ceremony will begin at 1 pm SHARP on the Grand Lawn, located along the banks of the beautiful Delaware River. Please plan to arrive by 12:30, as latecomers will NOT  be seated until the bridal procession has concluded. 

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, so we ask that guests please refrain from taking any photos or videos for the duration of the processional and ceremony. We have hired a wonderful team of professional photographers and videographers to capture our magical ceremony, so we ask that you please let them work their magic. 

Golf carts will be available to transport any guests requiring additional assistance in getting from the main inn and parking areas to the ceremony seating. 

Immediately following the ceremony, guests will be guided to the River Sanctuary Pavilion, where they will be greeted with a glass of champagne. 

Guests will be given the chance to mingle and enjoy a delightful array of

 hand-crafted hors d'oeuvres, all while taking in the beautiful sights of the Delaware River and the stunning foliage of Worthington State Forest. 

Following the cocktail hour, guests will be guided to to the main inn, where they will journey to the Worthington Ballroom for the reception. 

Guests will enjoy dancing and  a sublime buffet dinner, while getting to celebrate the newlyweds.

Beer, wine, and soda will be served. 

We've got a wonderful DJ ready to keep everyone entertained, and a few surprises, too! 

Guests will be ushered out of the Worthington Ballroom around 6:50 pm to allow the newlyweds to enjoy a private final dance. 

Guests will make their way to the main entrance of the inn for a very special send off taking 

place at 7 pm.

The night won't end with the final dance. Theresa and Jonathan have arranged for a private fire pit  on the Grand Lawn to begin at 7:30 pm. 

Guests can unwind, relax and enjoy making their own s'mores, while taking in the beautiful 

starry sky. 

There's no real end time for this portion of the night, but take it from Theresa and Jonathan - you could easily pass all night laughing with each other at the s'mores pit.

As a special thank you for those choosing to stay overnight at the Shawnee Inn, Theresa and Jonathan will be providing a light breakfast of fresh pastries, coffee, juices, and more the morning after.
